Re: mugshots
i'm sure you're right Dom -- it was probably No 12, cos John was living above Jack -- and the Welfare State has been described as a "street theatre performance art group" -- (it started in 1968?) -- they were based in Burnley at some point -- i've got a postcard of their wagons and what lo...

Re: mugshots
We are scraping the barrel now, aren't we. It's true that people didn't often have cameras, in our circles, in those days, so I imagine we have seen all there is to see by now. i disagree -- at least a couple of people have told me that they think they have photos somewhere, but need to try and fin...

Re: Frozen Bubbles
we had a light fall of snow here the night before last, our first of the winter, but it hardly covered the ground and most of it melted the next day -- this part of Essex (Basildon area) must be one of the mildest and driest in the UK glad i wasn't brought up here... snowball fights and sledges were...

Re: including images in posts
So why do some photo's get lots of views and others never get viewed. (?) various reasons -- dealing with very different viewing figures for pics on the same page... specifically, i think the viewed figure refers to 2 different things -- if the pic is just a standard embedded pic as part of the pos...

Re: including images in posts
Joviale posted a picture of The Barmy Arms last week and It has been 'viewed' 42 times. I posted one of The Cabbage Patch at 3am today and it's been 'viewed' 24 times already. could this be a problem? if so I'll remove it. And what is meant by 'viewed'? "viewed" really means "accesse...

Re: The Warehouse
...The Warehouse... I hope someone else, who was more involved, will write their account. Jack would probably be the best person -- he (and Scratch ?) were the first to see the potential of the place and i remember him coming round to No 7 to persuade me how it could be used --- and it was about th...

Dom, nice pics :) but the Cabbage Patch is in the wrong place -- it should be top left (somewhere near the "A" of "Attachment") early on (1972/3) i'm pretty sure No 19 was squatted by Jack and others, before they moved into No 17 -- "The first house we moved into completely ...

Re: setting up an Avatar
that's a nice avatar Dom... (or rather 'cool av dude', to use the vernacular) it's easy finding stuff, when you know it's got to be there :) yeah, Photoshop's good for manipulating images -- (not so good for drawing and layout) -- if i get stuck trying to convert between file formats or needing to r...
