Re: How to add pictures to posts

Weed wrote:(however renaming the file within Windows itself does not affect the pic as the filename is stored separately from the image)
Does this mean that an image taken from another website is still linked to it, even after being saved and renamed.?

Re: How to add pictures to posts

Chris, you said before in 'topic' No.8 that you had made that possible. I tried then and I've just tried again and It's not possible for me to do that. I'm still barred from posting pics more than 400x400p. Perhaps Weed or Jo could try it, to confirm, or not. It might be that you've only allowed tha...

Re: How to add pictures to posts

Thanks Weed, I've edited my last post a bit. I understand that there is a way to add an image without reducing it, so that it appears reduced to 'max.400x400pix' but becomes full-size when ' viewed' in another window. How is that done? It helps for looking at details if the original is larger and I ...

Re: How to add pictures to posts

I believe the safest way is to save the image in your own document files first and give it a new title. This cuts any connection to other sites. Then resize reduce it to a maximum of 400 x 400 pixels, (I use photoshop for this but there may be other ways, I don't know). When posting a reply, scroll ...

Re: Where (2009)

Happy birthday to Mac , and I hope he has many more. when you start talking of dates, if you can't go racking up international calls, let me know and I'll pass it on. This is the forum for discussing a possible date and general location. The conclusion can be distributed by email to all on the list...

Re: A General Greeting

No Joviale, I haven't found any new photo's. I thought that one was more about me than Gr.Rd. Also I thought I might save Blossom some embarrassment  . - But then I realised that the garage by No.12 in the background, is quite an iconic image that many people might remember.

Re: communal anarchy.

I guess it was genuine then !? Those doors were removed as a physical demonstration of an 'open door policy'. Although I guess 'policy' is the wrong word, as it was 'anarchy'. yes, i remember Artist Pete as well, and he didn't live on Eel Pie AFAIK but he did help squat the Petersham Road Hotel * an...

Re: communal anarchy.

John, - you flatterer! - I must have soon lost that twinkle. My memory is not good, and I'm ashamed and embarrassed to say that although yours and Beanie's names are familiar, I can't attach faces to them in my mind. Perhaps if you write more of your memories it will stimulate mine. I presume Peter ...
