it's easy finding stuff, when you know it's got to be there :)

yeah, Photoshop's good for manipulating images -- (not so good for drawing and layout) -- if i get stuck trying to convert between file formats or needing to reduce an image to a very small filesize i use my old version of Graphics Workshop

i still cling to the belief that software is like wine -- some vintages are better than others... for looking after my databases i use a 20 year old version of FoxBase+, which runs like greased lightning on modern machines -- the only problem i had getting it to work from within XP was how to open up a full-screen DOS window (the solution was to use Alt-Enter from an input prompt)
