hi Jov,

most of the people who read your post were probably 'guests' just browsing (or maybe bots or search engine spiders?) -- and with the lockdown there's maybe less news than usual

there have been quite a few posts on the Facebook page in the last week (from Karen, Gary, Martin, Princess, Dominic, Fritz and others) mainly discussing a couple of films about Eel Pie Island which have been on TV, and i've had messages from Olivia, Kate and Steve Bird on Messenger -- others might be using WhatsApp or exploring Zoom -- i had a long phone call from Danny the other night, who is stuck in his van in Brittany (no internet connection, in fact not much of anything apart from a phone which a friend gave him)

i'm quite enjoying the self-isolation, catching up on my guitar tablature and playing lots of Beat Saber

how's things with you? xx

Hi Joelle
I don't think I even got a notification of your original post not sure why perhaps it got lost in my inbox.
I am still going to work most days, where I can garden without having contact with people. Which is good. Jacky is seeing clients on Zoom and over the phone but did have to spend last weekend teaching 14 psychotherapy students also on Zoom which she found rather stressful . Otherwise I am getting to do jobs I have put off here on the island. Hoping I don't catch this retched virus and that you guys are also managing to avoid it.
Look after yourselves.

Oh happy to see that you're ok.
I'm not on facebook. Don't like the gafam, After a long discussion with myself, I was prepared to make an exception during the confinement, I tried registering .... but they wouldn't have me!
So if someone is prepared to copy paste messages from facebk here, or tell people there that some of us would like to see their messages, that would be great.
And i'm looking for someone who speaks french to talk on our radio about what's going on in britain.
So, could someone post that on fbk on my behalf.
